Date: Domingo, 13 Junio 2021 17:14
INTRODUCTION: The SARS-CoV-2 pandemic has led to the restructuring of digestive endoscopy units worldwide, limiting endoscopic procedures and prioritizing emergency indications such as upper gastrointestinal bleeding (UGB). However, there is little evidence regarding its impact on evolution and results. OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the management of UGB in the context of the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus pandemic. MATERIALS AND METHODS: Observational, descriptive, retrospective study from March to August 2020 in patients diagnosed with UGB and SARS-CoV-2 infection.
